In September of 2019, a survey was done of all the trees of Victoria Square, to check their health & future sustainability. This map below shows all the trees that at the time needed to be checked. Note, this is not a complete map of ALL the trees, present in The Square and is certainly now out-of-date, following the removal of several trees deemed diseased and dying, and the planting of several new trees as replacements.
We will be using this map as a basis for doing our own tree-survey, in which we will document all current trees (excluding self-seed saplings), identify what they are, and look at what better ways we, our members, and the community can better manage, interact, and maybe even 'adopt'. Look out for this in future project updates.
